Aimee Echo is my idle. I love her so much, and I loved HWP more than any other band in this world. My second favorite band: Snot. Then one cold day HWP broke up. Then an even colder day Snot broke up due to a tragic accident that left them 2 members short (if you count dobbs, which of course i am). Then there was this really happy sunny day when i came across this website and found out that who was forming a band? Snot and HWP. "Jesus Christ!" i screamed. "NO FUCKING WAY!" i nearly had a heartattack. I was screaming so loud my neighbor came over to make sure everything was ok. That news alone kept me on a high for at least a month. Ecstatic is an understatement of feelings I have anticipating thestart's new cd. i have a countdown chain in my room till July 18 (you know those paper link things you made in kidergarden with glue). I tear one off everyday. i'm so excited. Anyways, as for the comment about Tairrie B. being inferior to Aimee Echo, that is BULLSHIT! You shouldn't say things like that about such a cool gurl. Tairrie is out there working her fucking as off showing all the shovinist pigs out there that "hell yeah gurls can rock". That's cool that you like Aimee but have some respect.

I've uploaded mp3s of theSTART demos to my idrive. the quality isn't great, but hope anyone who downloads them enjoys them anyway. there's a bunch of different folders in the shared section of my idrive, many of which are empty, but if anyone has mp3s that they would like to add, please upload them. http://www.idrive.com/grrlie_radio

I am so damn desperate for the cd to come out! What I had to resort to was to make a really crappy tape. I just recorded the demo from the computer speakers and I listen to it so much. But obviously I keep it to myself for 2 reasons: 1) I don't want to rip them off and sell it or anything like that, 2) I want to keep this band as my little secret. I wish them well and everything and I wish they are very successfull but I still hope that there will be cool underground bands that only real fans will know of and I am the biggest fan of theSTART.

4 years ago, I heard a drummer named Jamie Miller. He was so amazing that I picked up the drums. I looked up to Jamie for about 3 years. They came here to town quite a bit. But I never got to hang out with the rockstar. I hung out with Lynn, Mikey, Sonny, and John for hours. But never Jamie. When I found out you left Snot, to join a new band as a bass player, I was shocked. I just wanna know why? Because in Snot, you were a godly drummer, but now you are an average bass player? Why dude? I looked up to you, I still do.

Hey everyone, there was a little ACCIDENT involving one of the members of HYDROVIBE on Sunday. MAT DAUZAT, the guitarist, rolled his explorer when he hit some wet pavement. He's NOT seriously injured, just a little sore. But just to make his bumps and scrapes heal a little faster, head on over to CLUB HYDROVIBE and leave a message for him on the bulleton board. He'll much appreciate it. The other bad news is that the TOUR could be postponed because they have no transportation as of now.**

I find it interesting that people compare Aimee to Tairrie B. Why do it? Either you respect them as individuals or you don't. People are not there to be compared to others ; they're there to live as they want and to do what they want without cries of "she's so like whoever". Personally, I love both tairrie and aimee, they speak out and are not afraid to say what they feel. this is what we need to concentrate on instead of judging people by who they bear resemblence too. peace and respect.

I just want to say that I think that Human Waste Project was a sweet group. But i'm sure that The Start will be sweet too. I think that Aimee Echo has the most awesomest voice.

Hey everybody,it's been a while, but I'm back *low-level appause* Thank you. I have been and am very busy, I went and saw NIN last weekend... amazing of course, and I HIGHLY recomend A Perfect Circle who opened up for NIN. Maynard from tool is their lead vocalist and he has quite possibly the greatest voice of all time (next to Aimee :). Anyhoo APC's album Mer De Noms comes out very soon, go buy it. Well, I must run, oh yeah my opinion about the Tairrie/Aimme dispute below... with the state that music is in now, we heretics should not be trying to find out who's better than who, instead we should all combine our forces against the real enemy.... n'sync. We are at war and must fight untill we die, not debate on who looks cooler, because if we do that we reduce ourselves to their level, and only then are we truely dead. That is all, and if anybody is going to the NIN show in Pittsburg I'll see ya there!

better than Tairrie? They are two totally different people in two completely different bands. I can understand that you may like one more than the other, but they are both strong women in metal music (well, with HWP for A anyway), and we need more of that. I haven't always been in love with the musicial aspect of all of Tairrie's bands, but her lyrics I have always liked and she says a lot of shit that people need to hear. I could go on and on about this, but you have your opinion, I have mine..

I loved Human Waste Project. I think it's cool that Aimee has got another band together. I would've loved HWP to have been around longer, but maybe The Start will be just as good, or better. I remember when HWP and Tura Satana were in Kerrang! magazine all the time, and I thought they were the same sort of music. Then I heard both of them, realised Aimee was shit loads cooler than Tairrie, then Tairrie and Aimee's band died. Unfortunately, Tairrie got another band (My Ruin) who are even worse than Tura Satana, but fortunately Aimee has now got her band. I really hope The Start are cool because Aimee is better than Tairrie: image wise, looks, voice, how her personality came out in interviews, so go for it Aimee!!! You deserve it!

Hey... I would just like to say that I think that it is really cool what The Start are doing, as they are going to have a really hard act to follow after Human Waste Project... I will buy the new album for sure... Hey, talking bout getting headbutted in the moshpit, I nearly lost an eye when Slipknot were here in February!!! Anyway, if ne one wants to email me go straight ahead, I DO get pretty bored running around after Peter Pan and the Lost Boys all day...lol...

I listened to your demos and..... Among all of this heavy music and heavy living, "the Start" is the only music I've heard in years that has the glimmer of "timelessness". I own hundreds and hundreds of recordings and I can count the ones I consider "timeless" on one hand. "the Start" is godhead on earth. Do you understand me? Do whatever you have to do to keep it together and get yourselves heard.

peter: cuz whether we'd all like to admit it or not, misery drives us to strive for better or wallow in it till we can figure out how to improve the situation...it all happens for a reason i believe, and whether we know that reason or not, there's always sumthing that is to be learned from it...whether it we ourselves learn it or sumone around us does...being miserable isn't as hard to keep up as being happy...that's just how it goes...all i can say is cheer up even though that seems to hard and to far away to achieve...take care...bye..........

why is it that it is always a lot easier to be miserable than it is to be happy? the one girl that i really like doesn't want to go out w/ me as see isn't really looking for a relationship. sorry, i know this is meant to be for saying the start are great, they obviously are...i am just having trouble not being depressed. someone e-mail me.
