Ah.. another week of school done, I'm happy, very, very happy. I would like to stay this way, so very happy on this fine day, i don't really have anything to say, but I'm going to see nine inch nails on saturday, it would be cool to meet Trent, I'm listening to esthero's "heaven sent", I hate to speak and then depart, and on july 18th we'll all be rockin' out to theStart. bye-bye

Aimee & Co: Perhaps you should implement a messageboard as well as this guestbook? Looks like people spend a lot of time speaking with *each other* here; perhaps a messageboard might be found useful. Just an idea. Much love as always, and I'm looking forward to the next show . . .

tallulah- I know the pics you mean I have them too, aimee you look gud in those. Is there any sight of the start coming to a uk festival, reading&leeds or glasto? it would be so kewl if they did! Still waiting for a uk release date I don't think any would be soon enough for me life and exam stress are getting to be far too much too much if you know what I mean. Any way the possibility of import should keep me going for the next couple of months even though it'll end up costing a fortune! oh who cares the start are worth it! later lexa

defgurl1, That chik who was outside the show, she came up to me and was saying that she was married to Jay Gordon (orgys singer) LoL and that she was Aimee's best friend. What a weirdo. Me my friend Kali, videodrones manager, and Kris(vidrodrones drummer) were talking outside and stuff, and that psycho-ciggarette-smoking chick pushed my friend Kali off a bench and like blew smoke in her face cos Kali would not go hunt down Ms.Echo. Oh yeah, and um, it was not cigarettes she was smoking during the show, it was pot, and she had cigarettes laced with angel dust and who knows what else. But yeah, I think if u ask anyone who was at that show, if they remember that chik , most will say yes! Cheers!

FIRST OFF, anyone who has any pics of AIMEE singing at her B-DAY BASH, I need to borrow ONE for my site for the SOUND section of my SITE (click on my name). I was at the show but I didn't bring my CAMERA to L.A. for fear of damage to it. It'd be much appreciated and I'd alter it in photoshop to the extent that it'd be useless for other people to borrow it for their sites... or check w/ my friends for the code to prevent people from downloading it to their computers if you're concerned about keeping the pics exclusive. Ok that drunk girl outside, her name was Andra she thought whe was best friends with Aimee, and was sitting outside after the show crying because Aimee was her ride home, and she got kicked out for being drunk. And she was cold. I didnt know it but apparantly she is some wierdo psycho fan, but I offered to help her out, because I thought she was stranded, and she was increadably drunk. Well anyway she went home with some guy who said he was The Start's stage manager, and that is the last I saw of her. But she did help out a friend of mine. I love you mamma!!! I saw the show at the Troubador and all I gotta say is, "DUH". I was in a trance... I was in awe... and I was scared-sh*t out of my pants that a cigeret was ganna stab me in the eye by a drunken googoo-head! Anybody know what I'm talkng about? I mean goddamn! It was a great show... like they would ever put on a bad one. Hey, thanks for having us stay for the last band to play. If anybody left after the Start played you missed out on another awesome band, Esex. And you also missed out when God came down from heaven and passed out free Tickle-Me-Jesus dolls... man are they cute! He giggles and makes cherry punch out of water! Thaks for the show guys. I was just introduced to you guys by my verry good friend. So last night was the first time I ever heard you. I have to say you blew me away. I have never instantaniously fell inlove with music like I did with The Start. Aimme, you have a beautiful voice, and you look great. I dont believe I have words for how great The Start is. I am in awe. I was also happy to see Wayne there, who I have been wanting to meet for a verry long time. Now I want to meet Shavo, and new to my list is Aimee. And the biggest one on my list would be Trent Reznor but I doubt that will happen. Anyway I just wanted to try to express to you how fantastic you guys are, and how much I fell in love you you on the first song, and was enjoying evey minute more I was blessed with the sounds of The Start. I Cant wait till I can see you again, and I hope next time I have a chance to shake your hand Aimee, and tell you how much I appretiate The Start.

I'll try to get my ass BACK to L.A. this year and maybe we can hang out for more than 5 or 10 minutes. Oh...haha... and you might need to explain to Mike who I am, he got all confused when I was talking to him before you came downstairs. Aimee Echo Cult??? ha! I must have scared the boy. Hello heretics! I'm setting up the bar and getting the party hats ready for tonight. I hope you guys stay up for the bash taking place right here, online in celebration of theStart's first show and Aimee's B-Day. It's not my fault that I'm on the east coast, and that it will be around 3 or 4 in the morning when the show's over, but oh well. To everyone going to the show, do a little dance for me!

Greatings Heretics! I'm just returning from spring break, ah.. return to collage life, anyway I'm here to announce a party I will be throwing after theStart's show. The party will be in celebration of Miss Echo's birthday and will be here on this very site. I hope Aimee arrives but if not, will dance around singing songs all night in her place. The event will be casual dress, with no cover charge, and you can bring anything you desire. I will try to be a good host, but if I happen to fall asleep,(which is quite posssible) don't stop on account of me. Well, I guess I'll see you there!

i wrote this in response to an email i received today..
my boyfriend who i have been head over heels in love with went to jail for opiats 3 days ago. he is not addicted, i love him so much and want him out.. things are really shitty for me right now and i need some kind of release. you should have written this at the start, it is a speak out. i thought i should say something other than "aimee echo and the start is great, but my life sucks" kinda thing. weed is better than alcohol, that is why i said it was good. i dont smoke it at all anymore because it gets you in trouble. but it does not have addictive side effects. it doesn't make you puke. it doesn't damage your liver. you can drive high and not drunk. i really wish weed were legal over alcohol. alcohol turns people into assholes. weed mellows people out. i'm pretty much addicted to mini thins right now just to get my through this mess of thinking my good friend died and my boyfriend is in jail. i'm an optimist, but when i'm depressed i just want to die. life should never be taken for granted, it is a gift. "dont let the world bring you down. not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. remember why you came and while you're alive.. EXPERIENCE the warmth before you grow old". whatever that warmth may be, remember to have love and lost is better than to have neve loved at all....
i'm not saying this like i know everything, these are just opinions.

Jamie, What is up? This is Brian form the band Plug. (The guy that used to talk to you all of the time at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, NC) Just wanted to say that I am proud of all of you and will help to spread the word about theStart as much as possible. You were always one of my beggest influences as a drummer and I have to admit it was strange when I first heard that you were the bassist but I learned something very valuable about it. You are not just a drummer but a full blown musician and that inspires me more to be a musician! Do you ever talk to Larkin anymore? And last question. When is theStart coming to NC? Let me know so I can spread the word! Take care Jamie. Aimee, Scott, and Mike all of you are great people. We the music society needed somwthing like this, and theStart will make it happen.

Yep, FINALLY managed to find something to say and the time in which to say it. If you are in the UK, you could really help someone by checking out www.amnesty.org.uk and there are pages for others in the world too. I know this particular page isn't intended for the advertising purpose but more people really need to WAKE UP! to the crap that this world is dishing out to innocent people. By simply writing letters, you can help free those who have been imprisoned for being who they are and NOT conforming to the demands of oppressive regimes. Check it out!!!

Hello. My name is Rogério and I'm from Brazil, I love Aimee's voice it's so passionate, emotional, beautiful and why not, sexy. I love "E-lux" but everytime I'd listen to it I couldn't stop thinking that the experimentalism was great, the lyrics were amazing but it was a little too angry and heavy for me... My favorite songs are Electra, Interluge and the wonderful One Night In Spain. But overall it is a great record. But I'm so happy to know that theStart will explore that soft side... it's really good when people realize the strength there is in being emotional because quite frankly I got sick of dumb metal. I have really high expectations about the new album. PS: Aimee you're the coolest woman ever since PJ Harvey, i hope you read this.

storytime..
since this is a freespeak forum, and i have a lot to say, i am going to speak exactly what is bothering me at this moment.
this is my dedication to j. j died on july 4, 1999 of a drug od. not usual, j knew her drugs, she was only 15, but very mature for her age. i honestly did not know her well, but spooky things have been happening lately.
"i'm trying to stay away from drugs, because they are the only thing that is keeping me ALIVE. if i dont deal with life, i never will. life...it'll kill you. i hate being codependent, i need to learn to deal. i thought i was dying inside and out last night. i am secretly suicidal, but i dont want pity, otherwise i'll never learn, and i'll leave everyone one day without them even having a Clucking Fue. i am not going to be submissive anymore, life is too short to be living it like i do. if you haven't noticed, j is haunting some places, and i think anyone who is still doing drugs or hasn't dealt with her death needs to, otherwise she'll never die. it's the ignorance of some people that drives me off the wall."
drugs are bad. weed is good. alcohol is a dependency. rolling makes people trendy and have a 2 year old mentality. acid makes people see the devil, but is a great mind expander and makes you permanently insane. for more opinions, see xdreem.
j-

thanks.

Hey everybody, how's it going? Not good, don't worry things are looking pretty shitty for me. Anyways this message is directed to all the people who are having problems with "not being accepted into society". That means if someone continually gives you shit just because you look different. F**k that. Anyway sometimes just because you look different doesn't mean that you will get shit. Personnally I don't dress much like a goth or anything like that but I still get a load of bollocks from those so called "trendies", and sometimes it's not always the "trendies" who will taking the piss, even metal fans will. Metal fans will give me shit just because I like sport. Well gotta go now. See ya later.

Jodie, if you use manic panic, it looks great the first few days, but then it begins to fade pretty rapidly, so it gets a somewhat dull look. i heard of some stuff called Punky Color or something like that, it's supposed to be good but we don't get that where i live. But, if you have the patience to re-dye your hair every week and don't mind stains getting on telephone chords, white shirts, etc. go for the manic panic. Another important, but slightly gross tip: when i use manic panic i only wash my hair once a week and that's right before i redye it. Unfortunately, shampoo greatly increases the fading process. It seems messy and a lot of work, but in the end, people visiting Florida from around the world say i have the coolest hair they've seen in a long time. So, experiment, but be careful! <3 Seth
Seth <Fairytron0@aol.com>
Naples, FL -
SETH thankx 4 the tip on the pink hair, but the thing is i had bleached hair and i had 2 low light it back at a high cost which my mother paid coz it began 2 look mankie..I want pink hair but nothing 2 permenant do u think wash out, semi permenant ones r ne good or will they just look shitty and dull? PETER- myself being a vegan, wierd and at school i can understand how u feel ,luckierly i only have a few months left then im at college but who says people there will be any different ,or ne more exceping , people r the same everywhere u go... never change 4 ne 1 except yourself. Bad things make those good things more special and treasureable , and when u meet people like it to it makes them more special coz they're not as easy to stumble upon..
JoDiE <vegan_dark_angel@yahoo.co.uk>
PETERBOROUGH, CAMBS UK -
This is to the girl who wants pink hair and anyone else who might be interested. It's somewhat common knowledge, but all you have to do is bleach your hair until it gets pretty light and then add in pink. i use manic panic, but it's not very good...it washes out in like a week so i redye every weekend and have my girlfriend bleach my roots every few months. Also, if you want to do a multi-color thing, just use vaseline to cover up the parts you don't want touched by the other dye. My hair is normally black and pink but this week, i decided to give aqua blue a go. But pink is far better in my humble opinion. =) Anyway, make sure you know what you're doing before you try this method! <3 Seth

Peter hun, you seem to be a little negative. I must say that you're being kind of hypocritical as I used to be--hating the haters. You really need to love people, and sure you won't get along with everyone, and sure not everyone's a vegetarian like you and I, and sure there are some IGNORANT fucks out there... but you know what, THEY WIN if you get pissed off by them. Just be cool, live life, be happy when happiness comes around... find it if it's not readily available. Cualquiera, no se... do what you want. But I just wanted to offer that little piece of advice.

Hey allz, yes I am still alive, contrary to popular belief (i.e. the lack of activity in the cult). Um... for the few people who may have been aware of this, I had an HWP site started about three years ago. It was connected to a Korn site I had and I just finally deleted them both. BUT NO WORRIES, I've started a new one. My new page will be a sort of HWP/theSTART page, I think. It's called "Calling All Cars" (don't ask why, hehe... just kind of popped in my head). If you click on my name you can access it... however I've only finished the cover page today. More to come next week. **

I just got over a cold last weekend and now have a new one starting *cry* Hopefully it'll hold off while I go to the fine(hehe) state of Oklahama this weekend to visit some people and see ULTRASPANK (and Incubus) in concert. I haven't seen either band since '98, so I'm very excited. well, off to pack and get ready to go back to work. yuck.

Angela, i actually agree, now that i consider it more. i mean, the Start IS composed primarily of different people than HWP, so it really can't be maturity. i just like the Start better. Hehehehe. But i do understand. For example, i have my main band and then i have a sideproject called Faggoty Ann that is actually a commentary on gay rights. Some would say Mannequin On Moon is much more mature than Faggoty Ann, since (though i take gay rights very seriously) Ann uses a lot of humor to get the message across. But really the 2 cannot be compared, just like the Start and HWP. Thank you for amending me, Angela. =) Take care, everyone! <3 Seth

Seth dear, the Start and Human Waste Project (not offended just stating). You really can't compare the two, they are totally different. They are in their own place and time. It's not a maturity thing its a new thing. H.W.P unfortunately is no longer and will be missed by many, especially me but it was a beautiful project. The Start is a new begining! Yes it is wonderful. *Angela C*

Hey Hypno, I found that the best thing to do to make you feel better is a healthy capful of nite-quil before going to sleep, that on top of whatever the docs say to do. I am cured for now but I justt found out my girlfriend has it now so I will probobly be sick again soon, oh well, hope you feel better soon! *gracefully exits*
Cory Riddle <CFRiddle@theFragile.com>

Not to offend in anyway, but i think the Start is a definate improvement on Human Waste Project. The sound is much more mature. i am really interested in the new wavey acts coming out of California right now like Deadsy, Orgy and Videodrone. It makes me jealous in an odd way. Anyway, you have a beautiful voice and the musical composition is great. Keep up the good work and good luck with your debut! =) <3 Seth

Ah, after a long day of trying to usher people to this site I finally got my studio speakers working so I can play theStart demos loudly. The songs sound even better when they are loud enough for all of my neighbors to make out every word. They acually enjoy it! They say it is much better than that "growllll" stuff, any-hoo, I bid thee farewell for this evening. tout-a-loo!

Hey, what it is! I am finally cured of the dreaded illness that has been causing me great suffering these past few weeks. I have now regained my ability to banter well with you hereitics. Now that I am well, nothing can stop me from typing seemingly endless, mind-numbing, over-exciting posts on this particular website. My well-being has also inspired me to go around to as many message boards and chat rooms as I can find and spred the gospel of theStart. Join me in this quest Heretics! Send the word out, let the people of this lonely world hear the simplistic beauty that is theStart. Share your thoughts, children. Let no man or woman leave their computer today without hearing theStart. Thank you, and may theStart be with you.

today it feels like the curse has been lifted ... anyone else feel it? a shift I haven't felt in years. perhaps we've slipped out of the alternate universe and into the real or vice-versa ...the date is 3/5/2000 or 5/3/2000 if elsewhere. on Jupiter the days are ten hours long and to orbit the sun it takes twelve Earth years. Imagine how many days are in a Jupiter year... further proof that time, as we know it, is a manufactured concept. I am warm and dreaming while awake. right now you should be with me feeling how I feel...invitation extended my friends... love to all of you

All i've got to say tonight is this " Hold hope in your heart as all crumbles around you, Grip it tight. As all will try and tear it a way. Hold strong to your friends they are your Shield and Sword." Quote by me plus its used alot but i like it "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all convictions, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity." - W.
